Project Description
Name of Project: Renovations to Lefevre Hall
Demolition of existing 3 story dormitory facility and complete rewire; including basement and addition of new mezzanine mechanical level. Project had extremely aggressive construction schedule mandating final completion within 7 months. Work consisted of new primary service and secondary power distribution, all new branch circuit wiring, and new LED lighting throughout.
Fire and Security systems Included, class A fire alarm with mass notification, extensive card access system, CCTV, and emergency phone. Energy management was accomplished using programmable logic controllers and Siemens digital control system.
Telecommunications consisted of single and multi-mode fiber optic back bone, multiple 75 pair voice cabling, category 6 horizontal cabling, and RG6U coaxial cabling.
J&J Sass was the sole electrical contractor onsite responsible for every facet of electrical construction associated with the project. Project was safely completed on time!
